sct kem tunes.

just got a sct livewire and im thinking of going with kem tunes. how is the tranny shifting? and what are some good tunes to run from them? i want decent milage, someting to tow things with in the rare occasion i have to, a tune to showoff and maybe another, i drive around town alot and drive on 2 hours and 4 hour trips and want a tune that will be good for trips and highway also. also want my daily driver tune to be completely safe for my tranny, heads and everything else.

thanks for the info in advance everything i read already online seems to not be very clear.

Skip KEM and go with Gearhead or IDP.

With the gearhead tunes, whats better than on the KEM 345 as a daily driver?
Not wanting to argue, just wanting to be informed - had my 345 for quite a while. Outside of being a bit of a dirty tune off the line or whenever you get on it, its a good tune for daily usage...

I have never ran in a KEM tuned truck. But I have heard about them in several threads, I would like to line up my Gearhead tuned truck witha Kem tuned truck. But, Matt's tunes are nearly smokeless when you drive right. Even getting on it full bore on the highway it only hazes a little, no realt thick cloud of smoke. I would almost 10 to 1 have Matt's tunes for a DD because you really don;t have to think about driving 'right' to keep the smoke down, you have to think ahead if you do want to get a little puff...
Plus, driving from Southern WV to Chicago on 35s I averaged 19.4 hand calculated... I LOVE Gearhead tunes, had em on my 6.0 too

I had one KEM tune it was the 250 tune, and I hated it! the shifting wasn't right it would jerk and buck. Also when I'd put the truck in park it would rev up on it's own. Now I have tunes from Matt at Gearhead, I have the Race, Hot street, And the tow. It's a whole new truck and doesn't smoke much at all, and the tranny is spot on. I would recommend them to anyone!
