Hi o4hdfatboy,

I love the looks of that intake. Can you tell me more about it? Cost, where to buy and what difference is there between that set-up VS. AFE and / or S&B? I'm running my S&B set-up with a moddified airdam in the fender with a BD Scoop myself. However, my truck wants more air. I guess my concern is, does that new unit swallow too much warm are from the engine bay? Any difference in EGT's and spool up? Sorry for all of the questions, but you have me very interested.

Thanks,
Karl (Turbo Kidd)

It cost $400 with the upgraded elbow like mine has. WIth the upgraded elbow it made 30 more hp with the 71 turbo when elite tested it. I can tell a difference between it and the s&b intake. Less smoke and more air. According to mike more are is more important than colder air especially in an intecooled vehicle. I dont think it makes much difference to be honest because the air is cooled by the intercooler anyway. I would imagine it wouldnt make much difference until you went with a bigger turbo which i plan on doing in the future. There is a good thread on powerstroke army that i will link for you to read.
