4" or 5" exhaust? Am I gaining anything??

hey guys, about get my mini maxx on order soon and im looking for a good exhaust system to slap on. I plan on going with a downpipe back system either MBRP or Flo-pro and the main question i had for everyone was, am i gaining anything at all by going with the 5" system instead of the 4"? A deeper tone, more turbo whistle? anybody had any experience with either? Just seems like everyone and their brother has 4" and I kinda just wanted to be different. your guy's advice is greatly appreciated!

I went with the Diamond Eye 5" tb set up. Very easy to install, seems to be heavy walled pipe with strong hangers. Has nice tone. Love it

5" seems to be the most popular for the 6.4. I bought a used 4" Flo Pro off CL and I'm very happy with the sound. 4" is actually negligibly better for performance up until you get to the 700+ hp range. You can't go wrong either way.

I also went with 5" on my 6.4 and was never unhappy with it.

4in DP and 5in back. Great sound, deeper tone, not quite as harsh of a sound as 4inch all the way out.

I went with all AFE and love it. Big heavy walled pipe and big heavy hangers.

I have a Flo Pro 4" downpipe back. Brother has a 5" Flo Pro downpipe back. Neither of us hear much difference between the two.
