turbo swap is it difficult

Im swapping turbos is there alot envolved or is it better taking to a shop

Swaping in a pair of elite tow power compounds and a airdog 2 . Is that a good set up

So I also picked up arp studs and oem head gaskets. Egr wastegate kit . So what levels can I set my boost defuels at to keep these new turbos and heads studs lasting forever and making good safe power

You have ARPs correct? You are still on stock fuel correct? If you are going to put the wastegate on, I would set it around 68psi of backpressure. If you are monitoring with an H&S, your backpressure will read 68psi and thats where you want it to open. If you are running Spartan or something that reads atmospheric pressure, you would want to set it at 68+atmospheric pressure (ie: 14.7 @ sealevel). As for boost defuel, I wouldnt set a boost defuel

Yea stock fuel set up for now . Yes arp struds. And yes im running h&s . So there is a back pressure monitor on the h&s . So these turbo can handle the boost level and my engine without setting any defuels for boost

Yeah those turbos will be fine, actually all of Elites turbos you dont worry about boost defuel. Wastegate would be your only concern and even on tow powers it isnt much of a concern
