UPGRADING TURBO'S

I'm wanting to upgrade my turbo's while i've got everything apart for head studs. what would be the better choice replacing both turbo wheels with the batmowheels or the Tow-power Atmosphere Turbo. not sure which one will give me the most power gains. i plan to step up the fuel system and injectors one day. thanks for any and all help

BatMoWheels are not worth it. I think Elite's 72mm atmosphere kit is the best bang for your buck turbo on the market. Big gains, awesome spool up, and much cooler EGT's.

That's what I was thinking. The prices I was seeing on the batmowheel was 850 for the high and low pressure side and only 450 more for the elite turbo.

I saw 47 HP peak just by adding the Elite 71mm and swapping to the No Limit Fabrication CAC pipe/intake elbow combo. Their 72mm setup would yield even more power.

Go for the 72.4 or if ya can swing it the full tow power plus setup.
Mine induces none stop giggling stoplight to stoplight.

Hands down favorite mod to date.

Are the tow power or 71/72 only's any laggier than stock setup?

I can say my elite tow power plus turbos (72/59) have noticeably less lag then stock.
Going from 10-15psi to 50+ psi is dam near instant.
adding a 71 or 72 is an improvement over stock in every way, throw in the HP 59 just makes em that much sweeter IMO.

Wow thats surprising...what about the 0psi to 10-15? Mainly worried about smokiness downlow, which is already minimal with LBF turned low on the H&S.

Sorry for the hijack OP, just looking for more info like you!

Call and talk to Elite on the phone. I considered all of this when I thought my new motor wasn't going to be covered under warranty. I learned some good info that hasn't been covered a lot on the forum regarding air and fuel upgrades for the 6.4.

Truck Source Diesel also had some good insight.
