DPF/Cat deleted...now need muffler suggestions

Guys,

I recently installed Flo Pro 4" cat/DPF delete pipe to my H&S tuned 2010 F350truck. Great mod that added power but not a fan of the loud airplane hissing noise coming out exhaust pipe. Any options to mellow out the tone and get rid of the airplane like noise? I dont like load exhaust....prefer nice mellow tone that wont drone in the cab.

2010 F350 Lariat, Ready Lift 2.5" level kit, Toyo Open Country AT2-35 x 12.5 R20 on Worx Tyrant rims

I believe flo pro makes a muffler for there system should mellow it out quite a bit.

5" lol

Sorry couldn't help but be unhelpful in this thread. To be honest I just run a straight 5" and don't have any drone and very little hair dryer.

But I do miss my small block Chevy rumble.....

A full 4" exhaust with a muffler is about as quiet as stock. I used to have a 4" AFE system with their muffler. It was too quiet for me so I removed the muffler.

My current setup is 5" Flo-Pro with a muffler. It's perfect for a daily driver in my opinion. I don't piss anyone off that's beside me with their windows down or receive any unwanted attention.

have you tried looking at the Aeroturbine 4040XL?

http://www.blackclouddiesel.com/Aero...nemufflers.htm

you can usually find them cheaper on ebay though.

2008 F250 6.4 - a little of this, a dash of that and soon you have made a truck the way Ford should have made it!

I'd rather run the one with no restriction

i wont argue with you, but I am wondering what restriction you are talking about? the aeroturbine has no restriction.... just saying... I have run them before, and have dissected one, and there isnt any restriction. i was literally able to put my fist and arm through one.
