Ohio and emmissions inspections??

Does anyone know if they do emissions inspections here in Ohio? I know there are a lot of modified diesels here (I just moved here in July 2012) but I didn't know if they were putting the stock DPF back on for the yearly licensing. When I licensed my Tahoe they just confirmed my VIN number and that was it.

It depends on which county in Ohio you live in. To my knowledge there are only 7 counties in Ohio that smog vehicles. They are all up north around Cleveland and Ashtabula and Cuyahoga.

That BMV link is so vague, does it have to meet all three requirements, IE) unless you live in a county listed you're clear?

Ahh! OK, I live in a very ag based county and I see a ton of wide open diesels up here so I assumed no worries, BUT I didn't want to install everything on my "new to me" truck this weekend before I had it liscensed. Yes, I'm that impatient, and it's the only time I have to do it.
