EGR Delete Question

I have a 2008 CCLB that I have deleted and installed the H&S MiniMaxx. My question is this, I know the MiniMaxx turns off the EGR functions but is there harm to just leaving the EGR assembly on the truck or should I plan on doing the EGR delete to it?

Thanks in Advance

Thanks for the links. I guess I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be doing any long term harm to my engine by not removing the EGR valves.
