Power cord for Mini Maxx

How did everyone connect the power cord to the purple wire for their mini?

Soder the wires together or some type connector like a t splicer???

Going to wire it up this weekend and I'm looking for insight.

Thanks

I never wired mine in - it gets power from the diagnostic port plug in, and I just use the toggle switch to turn it off...

Just splice it in or use a T-connector.
