You'll need a tuner/programmer, there are still some available, depending on what you want. The cheapest one I'd go with would be the DPF-R (about $500), and you'll need a delete pipe.
Disclaimer: I've never used a DPF-R, but it gets decent reviews. I have a Mini Maxx on my truck, and I highly recommend that if you want to tune and monitor your truck, but they're getting expensive and hard to find. A lot of people like Spartan, and there are others as well.
With a DPF-R and a delete pipe, you're looking at around $700 to do what you want to do.
Whether or not you go with a full-on tuner like the Mini-Maxx, Spartan, or similar, or something simpler like the DPF-R, you'll notice a huge difference in your truck after you get rid of the DPF. It's definitely worth doing.
