08 regen delete ?

I'm looking to do a dpf/cat delete with all the sensors in place. Then a CAI S&B but I'm looking for a tuner or programmer that can delete the regen. I'm not looking for any extra power. I tired of my truck going into regen and smoking out the @ss when it does. It's f-ing embarrassing. I got about $1000
to spend. I will have to switch it back to stock once a year for emmisions.

Any DPF delete tuner is gonna cost you 1000+ and the cat and dpf pipe kit is gonna cost ya a couple hundo on top of it. you are about two months late. the EPA has pucked it up for everyone.

You'll need a tuner/programmer, there are still some available, depending on what you want. The cheapest one I'd go with would be the DPF-R (about $500), and you'll need a delete pipe.

Disclaimer: I've never used a DPF-R, but it gets decent reviews. I have a Mini Maxx on my truck, and I highly recommend that if you want to tune and monitor your truck, but they're getting expensive and hard to find. A lot of people like Spartan, and there are others as well.

With a DPF-R and a delete pipe, you're looking at around $700 to do what you want to do.

Whether or not you go with a full-on tuner like the Mini-Maxx, Spartan, or similar, or something simpler like the DPF-R, you'll notice a huge difference in your truck after you get rid of the DPF. It's definitely worth doing.

I picked up an sct 3015r a few weeks ago for $700 from PTP. But I know they are around $900 now. Call them. The prices are a bit better when you call

So did the EPA restrict programmers to cause the cost to go up. I looked on ebay for a combo kit and thought the prices were kinda high. I'll go with a used tuner if the price is right and can delete the dpf. I'm not really looking to add more power I just want to stop the regens.
