Zex diesel nitrous kit 6.4l

have some questions probaly stupid ones
with stock tranny and nothing done to motor except intake dpf delete egr delete would it hurt to use this maybe 10- 20 times total for 1/4 mile runs?whats long term effects?
is it hard on motor ?

Small should be okay. The big thing is back pressure increase, unless you have a gate, and the amount of boost you'll be creating with nitrous. The two biggest concerns would be valvetrain damage due to the back pressure and lifting the heads. The transmission would be my third concern behind those two.

well what size jets would not hurt a thing without chaning anything? and what improvment does it have on 1/4 mile times?

I'm not sure what size jets there are. I've never been a nitrous guy. Always ran my truck fuel only on the dyno and at the track.

well i would take a 12.3 but i dont got all kinds of money to stick into the truck

I had less in it than you think to run that. Minus the built transmission, the truck was pretty basic. Lots of weight out of it, a good 60 foot, and a really well prepped track at sea level is what got me in the 12.3-12.5 range. Oh yeah, and good tuning of course.

Sea level is a "BIG" one........

OP, you should be fine with 75-100shot, as long as you don't get carried away. Remember, I said fine, not safe, anything can happen......honestly if you are that worried about it, then just don't do it
