have a couple questions about programmers

Ok so i think i have decided to get the SCT SF3. What do you guys think of that programmer? My truck is a 08 that is stock for right now. All I really want to do to it is the tuner, intake and exhaust. So I can just use canned tunes for now and get some custom tunes when I get the exhaust and intake. Does this sound ok? Another question I have is I have a edge juice with attitude that I have never hooked up. Could I use the the edge for monitoring while I program with the SCT? Thanks for the help

Mike

i was doing the exact same thing that your doing sct with edge for monitoring. ill be honest the sct canned tunes in my opinion are just terrible so I went with some custom tunes I went with kem got the 175 tune and was extremely happy now tonight I just bought and hooked up a mini maxx and Ill be honest I should have just done this in the first place I cant explain it but the truck runs a million times better and the 50hp tune has more power then the custom 175.....just sell the sct and edge and get a h&s. This is just my opinion from personal experience

What makes you think that? H&S will not continue to produce off road tuners for the street again.

And why would you buy something with a sliver of hope that there MIGHT be a custom tune for it eventually. Seems like a waste of money.
