Well I have the Banks tuner for now.
A month or two down the road I plan on getting a DPF delete capable tuner. I saw someone post 'Get one while you can'. Why is that? Are they going to become hard to get?
Well anyway, the Banks tuner only has a couple of available tunes in it. Like Stock, Sport, and Tow. I'm running the Sport and it does shave a full couple of seconds off my 1/4 mile time. It adds something like 65 real horsepower over stock.
I'm wondering if someone can point me toward some instructions on how to tweak the advanced tuning options in the Banks to get a little more performance out of it before I go ahead and do the delete and get a better Tuner?
Are there going to be some restrictions on availability of delete capable Tuners? If so what kind of time-frame are we talking?
