Finally Deleted! WOW

Well....today was the day. 2010 F350....12,xxx miles. I installed Flo Pro DPF/Cat delete pipe and H&S Mini Maxx (offroad version). Tuner install was super easy but exhaust took quite an effort since I dont have access to a lift and I was also wrenching by myself. That stock DPF and Cat weigh alot I downloaded the Mild tune and WOW....it really wakes up the truck!

It sure does wake them up! Take a look at the cac tube by the passenger side headlight where it passes through the core support. It's highly restricted! You'll want to put an aftermarket one after you see how restrictive it is. Did you out a CAI on yet?

I have a 2008 F-350 KR with aftermarket exhaust and Black Maxx tuner. My check engine light is coming on even after getting it reset at dealership. I've been told it's because of the exhaust. Are you guys experiencing this as well?

What tuner do you have? I know you said H&S, but is it the off road or the street?

What is the code that is being thrown?

Let us know what the code is. Not sure if your Black Maxx tuner can read codes? If not, stop by Autozone or similar auto parts store and have them read the code.

I did have code P2002 and check engine light before I did the tuner and DPF/Cat delete. My S&B intake/filter was the culprit but I also heard that after market exhaust can throw code if truck is still running the DPF.

Probably should have waited before I posted but I'm anxious. I just got back from Afghanistan and actually purchased the truck while I was over there. My dad picked it up for me and it's sitting at my parent's house in Bama. I'm going to pick it up at the end of the month and CAN'T WAIT!!! The seller told me about the check light and had it cleared at the dealership before I made the purchase. My dad drove it a few days ago and "got on it a bit" to use his words, and the light came back on. So, I don't have it sitting here at the house to be able to check and provide you the info you asked for. I'll see if I can get it from pops but I'll have it at the end of the month at the latest. I appreciate you guys replying to the question. I'll see what I can find out.......

No problem man. Have your dad take it to AutoZone and have them read code. Also if he can check if the stock airfliter box was removed for CAI type.
