I was looking at this exhaust on eBay and it was the only one I saw where it said it needed the wastegate pipe welded in? Little lost as I have not seen any others say this. A little insite is appreciated.

All kits require you to weld to your downpipe if that is where you want to dump the waste gate. But I dont understand that advertisement? There is no way they include a wastegate and stuff with that for that price. And what does an exhaust have to do with the egr?

Thats why you deal with vendors like PerformanceTruckProducts and Rudy's diesel instead of fleabay

Since this system is "race only" they prolly say that because most people that get the full kit are going for big power and they are just letting you know it's not set up for a waste gate in the down pipe. Your fine.

This kit allows for the complete removal the EGR system from your truck. Utilizes existing EGR exhaust port to incorporate external wastegate to control resulting increase in backpressure. Includes water port plugs, and wastegate with piping. This kit requires you to weld in the wastegate pipe to your existing downpipe.

Just buy one from here and forget messing with the downpipe, i dont know that its all that worth unless you are putting down some crazy HP
