SCT Livewire TS and DPF CAT delete

$1600 bucks later my 2008 F-250 has a SCT Tuner filled with 3 different KEM Custom tunes written specifically for my motor and trans and a delete pipe.
Instantly I noticed a difference when I patted the gas pedal. With this being on the highest setting (+345 hp) my adrenaline was almost releasing. I could hear the exhaust, not too loud because I still have a muffler but loud enough to let you know it was there. Also the Fuel Mileage! Sweet Jesus I gained 10 mpg! Driving through the city was the only route back to my place from the mechanics and I was getting 23.2 mpg, whereas before it was only 12.4 mpg (on average of 4 consecutive tanks of fuel)...

Needless to say I'm excited about my purchase. The downside is I think all these untapped horses are trying to suck my stock air filter into the intake, so I will be buying an aftermarket one to keep my Check air filter light from coming on every time I get over 50% into the throttle. Also there is a hole in my intercooler, got any ideas on where to get one that doesn't have a ford price on it?

Try to go on to Car Parts Warehouse - Car Parts and Auto Parts. I saw it for like $500.

It is a KEM tune. A custom written tune that was added by someone who writes software and used to work for Spartan. He wrote 3 tunes. (1) 75+ horses (2) 210+ horses (3) 345+ horses. It was set on the 345 horses when I picked it up. I putted around town and calculated a quarter of a tank at 23 it was reading 24+ most of the day. This was driving like an old man. I will know more once I run a whole tank through it. The horsepower this mod and tuner adds is ridiculous and almost scary. I programmed the 210 hp and drove it around the block, less power was obvious the minute I took off and the lie-o-meter was reading 17-18mpg. I know it hasn't been accurate but I reset it every time I fuel up and it's usually 1-2 mpg higher than actual fuel mileage. The mechanic was adamant that I knew that this wasn't a F-250 anymore, it is a freaking monster. I'm going to test it in a quarter later tonight.

Thanks Josh517 that is the cheapest I have seen an intercooler. I will look into this more.

If you go to this link you will see the middle tuner for sale has one single +345 hp 'nutty professor' tune on it. This is a way you can purchase that tune on a tuner. From my understanding KEM will build tunes you can possibly download to SD cards and your H&S tuners but if you have an SCT livewire TS they have to write the tunes on the tuner itself. So contact them, these guys are ahead of the curve and the EPA is trying to straighten it out so it's probably wise to act now.
