tuner and exhaust
Hey all, new to the forum, I have a 08 250 6.4 8" lift 37" tire.
has 117,000 mi runs great. I installed a spartan tuner and flo pro exhaust( dpf/cat Delete from down pipe back. new COI and EGR delete. It was pretty cut and dry, this is my first time messin with it. My question is about the sensors, i removed the exhaust with all sensor in place, just disconnected em. installed everything and loaded the 210LL and so far it runs great better MPG, of course all the extra pwr. I dont need any of the sensors connected correct? Also i have stock Studs, Im not pulling anything heavy just a light trailer, Is 275 safe to run without ARP studs? thanks |

All depends on your driving habits. Stock headgaskets arent going to just blow while cruising down the interstate with a 500hp (if there was one). Ive seen headgaskets blow on trucks never running over a 210 tune. So take your pick. Drive smart and they will last. My truck has 50k miles, been tuned since under 1500 miles on it with my tunes being run above 275 probably >90% of the time. Not a problem. Knock on wood
No you dont need any sensors plugged in |

I drive the 300 daily. As long as you don't drive like a 16 year old boy who was just given a 1000HP Corvette for his first car, you will be fine. Just be smart with your right foot and watch your gauges.
Also no sensors needed. Sent from AutoGuide.com App |
