Spartan Questions??

I have a spartan installed on my 2008 f 350. Also have 5" dp back. I have it set on 75hpLL and i boost around 40 pounds. Just wondering if that is normal and I am only getting about 12mpg and thats what i was all stock. Just wondering what you guys notice or learned.

40lbs at WOT? Sounds about right. You arent going to see a whole lot of fuel mileage improved unless you get out on the highway and keep it under 2k rpms. Most people run the 210-310 tunes, i dont think you will get much info on the 75 tune

Your boost is fine. These trucks see 38-40 psi stock.

40 psi is the max from ford.. With the spartan be careful you can exceed 40 psi very easy and that's where problems start.

Going to see over 40psi with any big tunes not just Spartan. I see 50-52 psi on the regular.

You realize that all tuning companies push these trucks into the high 40's and low 50's with their big tunes, correct?

He probably doesn't realize that because he has no experience with any other tuners.

OP, You will have no problems at 40 psi. Also, it may be worth you trying some of the higher tunes for better fuel economy. I was getting about 12 in town stock, and now see around 14 mpg in town and 15 if I baby it running the 210EL.
