Talking AIRAID Intake On (PICS) !!!!

I picked up a airaid intake from summit for $274.95 came in 3 days. the installation was really really easy . I chose the airaid due to the fact that 2 diesel magazine installed them and I haven't heard any problems associated with this kit, but only time will tell. I notice a little added turbo noise but not obtrusive its kinda nice to hear something mechanical. I read that someone said it was loud and they were going to take it off due to that fact they must have installed it wrong. ** One side note the air filter has a specific up side and down side if its upside down the hood will touch the top of the filter ** the pics are of the filter on wrong :damnit

I also went with the aFe 2 stage. Very easy install, and makes it whistle louder.

Ive got the airride on my 6.0 and love the way it sounds. I bought a second filter to make cleaning easier.

Just a quick question.....that looks a little tall....do you have hood clearance issues or is it a tight fit?? Also any CEL yet?

Don't mean to here but does your truck smoke on takeoff from a stop sign? Mine does and dealer thinks its the air intake. They checked other things and cant find anything else.
