CHenry, thanks for posting that for me it seems like whenever there is pics no one reads the text

to answer the smoke question nope doesn't smoke and no cel's yet i'm @ 300 miles with the intake on. The truck is more responsive and feela like it pulls harder throughout the gears !

in stock mode no smoke at all. Only smokes with a hot tune loaded.

Yes, yes I read the part about the air filter being upside down.....I was talking about the cold air box .....it looks like it sticks up way above the fender

Well that was Ford's theory.....but hmmm, yeah stock they still smoke, hahaha....next time you see a 08 that has the stock tips look at them, 10 bucks says they are covered with soot

Looks great! Keep us posted on any CEL's. I want to put an intake on mine but don't know which one yet. I probably read the same articles as you and am leaning toward the Airaid. Thought about the AFE but it seems there is a fair amount of people getting CEL's. I wonder if they got problems worked out?

Sorry to run into the conversation, but to the guys that got the afe II, how much did yall get it from and where from. Ive called a few places and it sounds like there trying to gouge out my eyes. Ohh, and sorry again but im a newbie to diesels, what are CEL's.
