Spartan tunner does not turn off EGR. TRUE or FAULSE?

While shopping for tunner for a 2009 f350 6.4. dealer says "spartan does not support egr delete kit" is it true or not?

Anytune less than 210 cycle the egr same as stock. 210 and 250 cycle the egr only at idle. 275 and up turn it off completely. This is how the Spartan tuner comes when you buy it from a dealer.

If you want to do a full egr delete, Spartan has EGR Delete files on their website so that ALL tunes on the dashdaq have the egr completely turned off

all of the tunes that came on my spartan are egr off.

Did you buy yours used? All spartan tuners come like I stated. You have to download the full egr delete tunes from their website after purchase.

BTW I voted false on the poll. I took it "Now" as a misspell for "not"

i did true because i saw NOW as in yes they come with the ability to run a delete.

i bought mine used so it couldve came new with egr on tunes. i know i was running the 250hp tune early lock (only have 2, one early one late lock) when i did my egr delete.

Havent bought it yet, i had given up on the spartan. But now its back on. between spartan and minimaxx race.

Either tuner is a good choice. Neither is better than the other. Between them two and SCT LivewireOR with custom tunes. you cant go wrong. The dashdaq is a very very nice unit. What do you plan on doing with the truck? Just your basic dpf delete, egr delete intake and stuff?

I will be going all in and getting the bed plate gaskets resealed, head gaskets with arp, egr coolers, egr valve housing (elbow), dpf and cat delete, intake. I will be using for everyday driving, and towing rv trailer. I am focused on reliability and towing performance.

So with both the spartan and minimaxx can i use the stock egt sensor to get a reading?

Yes, pretty much any tuner on the 6.4 that monitors uses the factory egt sensor. if that is all you plan on diong, I would recommend Spartan. The monitoring capability is awesome. Power is awesome, the 310 is very fast. The 210 is a very nice tune to use for everything towing, daily driving, and etc.
