6.4L Powerstroke DPF Delete Pipe Kit with Electronics

has anyone heard of or used this kit? will just deleting the dpf with no tuner hurt the power out put of the truck?
my father is looking at buying an 08 f450 6.4L crew cab dually for pulling his fifth wheel allover (mobile retirement home lucky rite?)
i dont kno to awful much about the 6.4s i kno that deleteing the dpf helps fuel mileage some
hes not looking to make a race truck out of this thing just wants a reliable decent fuel mileage tow rig

$1000 with no tuner!!! No Way! Don't do it. You will be much better off (and safer) getting a delete pipe for under $100 and getting a known name brand tuner with DPF delete capabilities, for example Sparten, or a H&S race tuner (if you can find one).

And yes, deleting the DPF will help with the MPG and reliability.
