New to MiniMaxx: what is "safe" tune to run?

I have '10 F350 and its my first diesel. Truck has only 11,000 miles on it. I just received my Flo Pro DPF/CAT Delete pipe and my H&S MiniMaxx. Read the manual and I see several tune options: Easy, Mild and HOT DAMN 300. I bought tuner primarily to remove the harmful DPF so not interested in "rolling Coal" or racing or doing crazy 4wd burn outs nor do I haul big heavy loads all I tow is 21ft bass boat, UTV on trailer and occasionaly a 17 ft enclosed trailer. Also should note that besides a S&B intake I ordered online tonight....I dont plan on any other mods to engine.

What is a good, Safe can tune to run that will get me better MPG, safe power increase but not stress my stock motor or cause excessive wear or smoking?

Mild Tunes will be perfect for you.

Keep in mind the higher tune you run the better MPG you'll get. It's not really the higher tune that will mess up the engine, it's the way it's driven on that tune. I would suggest the HD300 tune for better MPG and you can set your Low Boost Fueling down to a low setting so you aren't smoking a bunch. But the newer tunes smoke much less than the older ones used to. It really only smokes a lot if you nail the throttle. You can always adjust on the fly and lower the HP if you're going to be towing the boat.

Is the MiniMaxx and older version? The newer ones don't allow you to run DPF Delete unless you go thru a registration process with EPA.

Forgot to add, if it's the older Mini make sure you go to the H+S website and run the automatic updater to get the newest and cleanest tunes on it.

So is it true that the mild tunes dont support the EGR delete? I know Eric said it in another thread but i was just curious. I had never heard this before.

It's the easy tunes that still cycle the egr. The mild and HD ones do not.

Yes...its the older version that supports DPF Delete. I just downloaded the latest updates to the Micro SD card. Now I need to install and update tuner and then install the Flo-Pro DPF/Cat delete pipe .
