Longer Spartan Power Cord?

After receiving my new Spartan tuner I was looking at the different mounting options. I think mounting it above the rearview mirror would work best for me, easy to see, out of direct sunlight, and not easily seen by the casual passerby. It appears the power cord will be too short. Does someone make an extension, or a longer cord?

To my understanding Spartan does not make an extension but I was looking into an extension for a DashDaq to the rear view and this is what I found.

HM did you ever get it mounted above the mirror is so do you have any pics you can post I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

I have not had a chance to do this yet. My schedule has been pretty crazy lately. I hope to soon though.
