Input please on tuner

Finally able to buy my tuner w/dpf delete for my 08 6.4 and come to find out about all of the epa headaches going on with H&S. Was wanting the mini max. Is it worth going to a Spartan instead? I don't want to reg my truck with epa for the tunes... Also is there any way of turning off the tpms with out having a H&S tuner?

Either h&s or spartan will do the trick for you. I think the h&s are getting pretty hard to find and are the same price and in some cases even more than the spartan now. It just depends on what options on each appeal to you.

I'm only wanting to turn off the dpf, do a egr delete, adjust speedometer for tire size, turn off tpms, and turn off seat belt alarm. Main reason for doing this is to make the truck last. Really not looking to add hp.

I see a lot of vendors selling the h&s for $1600-1700 right now. The spartan can be had for a bit less. Or you can go to the classifieds and try to find one cheap. Don't think you can go wrong with either one though.

I'm not sure if you can do the speedo adjust, tpms and seat belt thing with spartan quite yet.

I've never heard of Spartan getting those abilities, still think it's H&S only myself.

I have it and no regrets! It runs about $99. You can completely turn it off, or adjust TPMS pressures for front and rear, independently. Great tool, worth the money!

Im pretty sure you can turn of the seat belt minder by a set of steps, eg. plug in/disconnect numerous times with ign on, foot on brake etc etc..... it might even be in the owners manual, or do a search on here ive seen it before on here.
