SCT LIvewire to Mini Maxx????

So I've been thinking about switching from the SCT Livewire to the H&S Mini Maxx. I have custom tunes on my SCT 9625 Extreme Off-Road from Innovative Diesel. I've been happy with the tuning but the monitor is trapped in the 90's so I stow it away without monitoring EGT's and such. I'd be open to trades and I would also throw up cash for the H&S.

I just switched today and have no regrets. The shifting is so much better and I really like the shifting on the fly capability. I was running the kem 345 on my sct. As far as power the hd 300 feels stronger on the top end. Down low I couldn't tell a lot of difference. I think I will keep my sct for a backup unless someone gets really hard up for one.

If you ever decide to switch back i highly recommend getting IDP's newest tune version, you will be amazed at how smooth the truck shifts.

I will definitely keep that in mind. The only way I see myself switching back to the LIVEWIRE is if something happens to my mini maxx.

I had the old versions and i was like the 15th person to get the new version and i could not believe the difference. There was always that 100 miles or so when the trans would shift real hard after switching tunes, but with the new version its almost like the trucks got a brand new tranny that shifts like stock after switching tunes. Buttery smooth! Glad you like the H&S!

i need to get the new version tunes from Innovative.. i have the older tunes still, i dont run them anymore because the shifts are to harsh for my likings.

I've been expierencing fuel pressure surging with the new tunes but i havent found anyone else with the issue. The shifting is still so smooth, i couldnt believe it.

I get fuel pressure surging on my KEM 345 tune between 30 and 45 mph and around 1800 rpms.. i notice it more when cold.. KEM told me to send in a log while its doing it.. haven't gotten around to it. its the old tune i get the surge on .

the new xtreme race on my truck surges pretty bad, xtreme street isnt as bad and ive switched to xtreme x which is set up different then those 2 tunes and im not having any issues with it so far. Warm or cold both tunes still surge between 25-45mph.
