Switching Tuners

I wonder if you can go from a H&S Mini Maxx to a Spartan without going back to stock first?

Not at all. Just wondering. Say your Mini breaks and its not under warranty... What do you do if the Mini isn't available but other tuners are?

I would get the mini fixed if it broke .. even if discontinued they should still repair ??

My SCT just had an issue where some idiot smashed the lcd 65 bucks and a trip across country and it's fixed

but I don't know if you could put a spartan tuner on a already programmed truck

I'm waiting for H&S to reply to me with that answer.

An excerpt of the reply from H&S on whether or not a race Mini Maxx can be repaired out of warranty down the road...

"As long as the unit is still repairable, we will be able to repair it at your cost. We cannot sell you a replacement, but we can repair your existing unit."

Keeping in mind that things can change without warning (but not a knock on H&S, they have been amazing since day one) I went ahead and added another Mini Maxx to my order for a PTP EGR delete kit. It will either be insurance or an investment.... lol
