Question for H&S users.
Ok so I just installed my rebuilt tranny today. Has suncoast clutches and rcd tc. My issue if you call it that is before the rebuild I could've swore that it shifted to 4th and locked the TC at around 40mph when under full throttle. Now it doesn't shift til 4th until maybe 55-60 then locks. And under 75% throttle it will shift to 4th then lock and shift to 5th about the same time like one shift. I dont understand how changing hard parts can effect the shift points.
Also before rebuild when the h&s displayed TC lock it would lock immediately and now its a 1-2 second delay. I love the trans it shifts great feels great pulls great but I kinda miss how it was. I am no expert but did you get a lower stall converter than stock? Could that have something to do with it?

My truck shifts to 4th around 37 MPH and the TC locks at 42 MPH, it then shifts to 5th around 55 MPH with it still locked up. I love the S1M tranny tune for my needs. It sounds like you do / did too?
I would start by reloading your tune and tranny tune and see if that helps. If you have not updated your Mini, now may be a good time as well. The .48 update seems to shift very smooth. I would also contact your tranny builder and double check to make sure they installed the correct stall TC. You may have requested stock, but who knows, maybe they made a mistake? Yeah I purchased the tc myself and installed my only thing I didn't do was rebuild the trans. I had a very reputable builder do it.

Also what about the TC locking. When you see the H&S say TC lock does it delay or lock instantly?
