Re: H&S stolen

Sweet, thanks for all the quick responses.
Do these not Vin lock?

The reason I ask is the new tuner I'm buying isn't exactly new.. It has a history.
I've gotten two different stories on it.
The girl who has it now bought if for a boyfriend and when they broke up she regained possession. One story is she broke the Window and got it. The other is he peacefully gave it back.
I offered $700 and she guarantees it'll work or my money back

What do yall think

Just tune it, the H&S has a stock file on it already.

Yes, they do VIN lock. But once the vehicle is programmed back to stock, it unlocks from that truck, and it can be used on another truck.

I wouldn't buy it without knowing for sure if it's locked. Especially with her fishy stories. You can easily tell by going to the show settings menu.

Lame is taking the risk of getting fined even more when you as company are not 100% sure whats coming your way. When its your neck, your company and your life on the line you would do the same.

This is correct. And what I hate is people trying to sell locked tuners on e bay and people actually bidding on them. Guess they dont know any better.

Thats awesome to hear that I wasted $95 getting my truck reflashed bc H&S told me I had to. Love it!
