I use the s1m. Basically any of the s1 tunes should be better for towing due to the 4 and 5 tc lockup. You would just have to try the low medium or high shift points. How heavy are you towing?

Between 7,000-10,000lbs mostly highway driving but it seems to take forever to get up to 40

Try the s1m. It will also keep the tranny temps cooler longer with the tc locking in 4th as well.

I totally agree with this. Without the 4 th gear lockup, the trucks just revs and takes longer to get up to speed.. I have not installed one yet for anyone who did not like the s1l shift pattern. Gets great mileage too.

I think some of that has to do with where you live as well. More hills, curves ...etc.
i hated those tranny tunes. it seemed like i was in 4th then 4th TC, then 5th..then 4th TC then a5th and 5th TC...back to 5th....
The TC lock things freaks me out.. in and out, it just feels like it should be hard on the tranny, but i know im wrong it just feels weird to me..
