H&S Mini Max Problem Please Help!

Ok i just got my H&S mini maxx in the mail for my 09 F250. I plug it into the OBD connector and the unit starts up just fine but it goes right to a vehicle selection menu? There is a back button where the menu button should be and when i press it it just beeps at me. I go to select my truck from the menu and it asked if i want to change my vehicle to the one selected so I press Yes and it says Error 0 or something cant find files. Pretty much stuck on vehicle selection menu any help would be greatly appreciated

Nevermind got it working. Had to format mini sd card and manually put the whole original files on it... fixed the prob.

I'm having the same problem. How do I format and reload the files on the sd card?

Insert the card into the USB adapter then plug the USB adapter with SD Card into a USB port on your computer. If your using Windows XX your SD card will show up as if it's a hard disk or flash drive. Before formatting it copy the contents of the SD Card to your desktop. Format by right mouse clicking on the Drive ...should be Drive E: or whatever and choose format from the menu that pops up. Choose FAT for the type of format not NTFS or something weird.

I had a lot of these read problems with my SD Card and it wasnt solved until I went to Target and bought a new 2 GB PNY SD card. H&S I'm sure will help you out. I wanted a faster solution than talking to someone on the phone or waiting for a new card to show up, which is why I chose to buy a new one.

After you format copy the files back from your desktop onto the card....pretty easy if you know how to do basic things on a computer.

Thanks I had an extra card from an old phone so i used it. Hopefully I will get a chance to test it tomorrow. I can't wait been wanting a mini maxx for a long time. I appreciate the help.

So I finally got my mini maxx working. Had to call H&S they logged into my computer and loaded 2 files only on the card then after updating firmware they loaded the rest and had me update it and load tunes. Apparently the SD card manufacturer changed something with their cards and H&S had to update their stuff to work right with it.
