magnaflow exaust 4in
I am new to the site and was wondering if this exaust works. I haven't seen much discussion on the 4 inch magnaflow. I just want to make the truck a little more efficient Thanks

It will sound really nice and it will also give you more horse and torque! i think it will be a good investment. make sure you get the whole kit with down pipe and the whole works

Welcome to the site.....all that is currently out right now its a DPF back exhaust either 5in single, 4in single or 4in duals or stacks.....there is no sound change at all, because of the DPF. It will increase performance slightly, but not enough to justify price....I would take to a muffler shop and just get a straight pipe put where the muffler is.....if you want to make it louder then that is a totally different animal!

Yeah I went from 12 or 13 to 17 or 18 and 23 if I kept my foot out of it, but thats hard! And that was with the old tune.....right now I have the race tune and I'm on my second tank....I can tell its getting even better!

Yeah with the 6.0 a straight pipe is loud, but the new 6.4 is a totally different animal...

I got the 4" magnaflow on my 05 6.0
it does make a sound difference, just not a large one....on idle the pipe seems to just hiss, which I like, and when you start getting into RPMS, you can hear the turbo alot more, which I like, and even runnin it pretty hard it doesn't get real loud....which I like! lol the downpipe was a bit of a pain to install, but once it went in, the rest was butter. I got the 4" turbo back stainless kit, and lost my cat somewhere in the process. |
