F450 CC dually 2008 need tuner

I want to tune my truck for reliability and extra power. I have studied the H&S mini Maxx and the Spartan. I drive unloaded 98 percent of the time. I intend to just use a DPF delete pipe for starters. I bought the 200,000 mile warranty on it and from what is claimed by Spartan the are the most undetectable of all. H & S doesn't mention undetectability by Ford. I have about 65k on my truck now.
I like the shift on the fly on H&S.
I like the dash daq display

I am looking for help in choosing a tuner.
And what power levels unloaded ?
What level towing 13k fifth wheel?

I have a 2008 F450 CC 4x4 with a mini maxx and love it. If your going to do the DPF delete then they will know that you have a tuner anyways, and from what I understand if they really want to dig for proof you had a tuner they can find if the ECM has been flashed and how often.

Anyways, my 2 cents is go with the mini maxx. From what I read and all the research I did it seemed to have the best shifting and easiest on the truck.

You will be more than happy with whichever one you get. But get it soon or they may be gone...

If something goes wrong and Ford has to do a major repair, you can expect them to start digging. And if they dig, no tuner is undetectable.

Power levels between H&S and Spartan are almost identical. It comes down to what you want. Big screen with better gauges? Spartan. Shift on the fly? H&S

Most guys don't tow with power settings up. They'll tow in stock or no power modes (keeps the EGTs down).

Your only hope on having your truck serviced with a warranty is that the issue is unrelated to the tuner or that you have a very friendly dealer. Besides, if the tuner breaks your truck, you should have to pay for it... not Ford.

Thanks I will post results once I get it installed. Tuner and DPF delete pipe on FEDEX this morning!

Which H&S did you get and was it the "DPF delete" version? If so, where did you get it? I'm thinking about buying another one just so I have a backup.

I bought the Mini Maxx Race tuner sku# 109003 and the DPF delete pipe. The tuner will tune DPF off and has tunes for DPF on. I bought from Performance Truck Products as a kit with tuner and pipe.
