I went with the "beamers" brand and am very happy with them. 6000k. Not to sure if they are the brightest or the best but they definitely have worked very well for me.

Not the best, but I've been running Xentecs off of EBay -- $32 shipped. They've been great. 5000k

What ever you run, make sure to purchase a HID retrofit kit which includes the projector housing, too. Don't just replace your halogen lamp with an HID lamp. The reflector style housing scatters HID bulb's light everywhere (less focused than the halogen) which will waste a lot of the light output and blind oncoming vehicles.
I've used theretrofitsource.com for other vehicles. You can try that for a start. |

The best and brightest..these..New True projection hid kits.

I use the DDM kit with H13 bulbs (55W headlights) and 35W fogs. The kit isn't high quality and I recommend you go with a true projector set up (which means retrofitting your headlights with HID projectors and moving to a D2 or D1 bulb instead).
The light output is too much and is dazzling for other drivers if you run 55W bixenon HIDs in your stock housings (and the high-beams don't work all that well). They are VERY bright though. |

I have bought both the zentecs and DDM brand... Their both very inexpensive and for the $$ a great deal. the catch is when they fail... and they will. you will be left one eyed till
you can get it swapped out. My new solution. is Buy 2 kits... when one fails use your backup.. meanwhile send in the failed part for warrantee. and start over. as far as brightness? unless you get a full-blown HId with the correct lamp/lens. you wont see any diff with exception to color (which in most cases you choose) the short and skinny is buy 2 sets. still less than 1/2 the cost of a high end set. super easy install. move onto the next project. Best luck! |

Retro Soultions 6K 55w in the heads. I have 6K 35w for the fogs but have never put them in. I love my heads though. Never had a single issue out of the Retro Solutions.

FYI for anyone in Texas............any car or truck w/ HID's that didn't come stock are now illegal. Just thought i'd through it out there. A buddy of mine found out the hard way via DPS.
