Exhaust? tuner?

I am a newbie to 6.4s and need some help.. I recently bought a 08 f250 6.4 and want to do some upgrades. It currently has a edge that I plan on taking out right away.. I want to get a down pipe back exhaust system with dpf delete, do I need a programmer? If so what are my best bets for exhaust and tuners?

If you go with a dpf delete you WILL need a tuner. Which tuner is best is going to be a subjective answer. They all have pro's and con's. I run an H+S and I love it. H+S has halted production though so finding one may be tough.

Do lots of research on the forum there are plenty of threads with information on each setup. IMO exhaust is an exhaust, just pipes that direct spent fuel fumes. Good luck.

Can I install a dpf delete with my edge until I get a better tuner ?

Unless the Edge is a DPF delete tuner, no.
