Smile Newbie alert!!!

Hey all,
I am new to the diesel world I am currently deployed and purchased a 08 6.4. I was just wondering how well the banks six gun bundle will work. I've read up on h&s all all the others but the banks seems to be the safest way to go and when traveling get the best mpg's. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be the first one to tell you this but definately not the last. Go with a trusted tuner such as spartan or h&s they are well proven and by far the best investment you can put into your truck. Hope over to the general discussion for the 6.4 and there is a great right up on basic mods for all the new guys wanting info with out having to search to hard for it. It's a sticky at the top.

Semper Fi,
Zack

I think I've only seen a handful of guys running the Banks system.

I'm going to go ahead and suggest the H&S or the Spartan as well. The Banks doesn't have DPF delete, and if you don't want to delete emissions that is fine, but the H&S and Spartan have tunes for that as well and in my opinion are better.

Spartan or H&S ONLY for the 6.4 & 6.7!

I would go with the h&s

I have done a lot of research on these tuners before getting my H&S mini. The Banks system is a great tuner, but limited on applications you can run unlike the H&S and Spartan. There is another forum (The Diesel Stop) in which there is a gentleman named Senix that will answer questions regarding the Banks Six Gun as that's what he runs.
