H&S tuner performance

Hey guys, got an 08, 58000 miles, just put an MBRP 5" straight pipe, s&b intake and a minimaxx tuner on it. It's my cousins truck, my 6.4 has same setup with an sct tuner and 37's, getting 21 mpg on the highway. His truck is only getting 15 on a leveling kit and 33's. set on mild tune as well. I told him to keep the cruise set around 1700 rpm, and I'm thinking he should be getting much better than that but I don't know much about H&S. any suggestions y'all? Thanks!

His sounds about right maybe a little low and yours sounds like you need a calculator recalibration.

Really? My buddies six speed 6.7 cummins with an H&S blackmaxx is getting 25. That's all I know about these tuners. And I'm serious. I'm gettin good mpg. Only issue is that I rarely drive highway. I get about ten normally

I get 10-11 in town and 15-16 highway. I have gotten 20.6 before but only once and it was 100% highway and I must have been going slow and I don't know about your buddies cummins but one of the things people lie about most is their MPG for some reason.

yea I doubt yours is getting that god, that's very high for a 6.4 and crazy high for 37s my stock truck don't get that and im not hard it at all. your buddy with the 6.7 is more then likely just saying that. if it was a 5.9 maybe but that's high for 6.7

Okay, first of all, are these hand calculated numbers? Your numbers and the numbers from your buddy's 6.7L Cummins sound wayyyyyyy off. Heck, my tow rig on stock tires can barely manage 20-21 MPG when I set the cruise at 65. Cruise set at 70+ and its in the teens.

Yeah all done by hand. And I'm not sure, I went 500 miles all highway, didn't stop once. Figured about 20 mpg. My buddy had an egr delete, exhaust, intake, blah blah blah. It was all highway too. I've heard of 6.4's gettin better than 15-16 though.

I get around 10-11 in town and 15-17 highway cruise set at 75 on 37's, hand calculated was a couple better with 35's. Just went back to 325/60 r20 hoping to get a little better again.
