kem 345 to h&s300!

Hey, just wanted to share my experience after swapping form my previous kem 345 tuned on the dash daq to the h&s300 on one of my trucks. I have tuned many trucks with h&s and all were happy, so I figured I would give it a shot on my own. I have to say that right away I love the shifting. All of my kem clunking is gone. I went with the s1l shift schedule and it is perfect. Locks low and tons of power. Shifting is the same every time, unlike the 345. It is the closest yet power wise to my spartan 310. I have been holding off on updating my dash daq for years because I didnt want to lose the 345. I now know that there are many improvements over the 345. Now I will update my dash daq and get the newer spartan tunes so I can have the best of both worlds.

I was going to ask for someone with personal experience with H&S and Spartan tuner. Do you mind PMing me the pros and cons between the two and what one you would choose if you could only choose one and why.

Go ahead and share it with all of us. I would love to hear pros/cons from someone who has both.

I will honestly tell you that the h@s 300 is the smoothest tune that I have run but yet still have close to the same power as the spartan 310. I have zero surging and the engine is very quiet with the h@s. It has great shifting and lockup is the same everytime it goes through the gears.
The spartan is great for racing imo. The 310 is the fastest tune that I have run but it didnt have the daily driver charachteristics I was looking for. It will go very fast and shifting is dead on. I have never run the 300 spartan but ran the 275 for years when it first came out. It was great but I wanted more power. I just updated my dash daq to the newest firmware so I will try all of the newest files and report back. The newer high horsepower tunes are supposed to be much more daily driveable than the old ones i had so I will try them out as well.
