As long as your truck is returned to stock before you remove it he can use it.

what would happen if my truck was not returned to stock? the reason I ask is that my truck had the DPF delete, and my wife has to move my truck around the driveway and garage , it wont go over 1 mph. I remember reading that if you start the truck with no DPF it locks out the truck for some time, Im guessing it wont be movable

It won't work on two trucks at one time. Also, you're truck would not be driveable (in case someone would need to use it) since you don't have factory exhaust.

also keep in mind that H&S cannot sell DPF delete tuners anymore so you'll be hard pressed to find one here before too long.

Yea I would definitely not get rid of a mini maxx right now. You may not be able to get one.

That would be the fastest and safest way to help your buddy out, just make sure prior to purchasing the unit if it is being sold as used ensure that the unit has been set back to stock from the truck it came off of or your back in the same boat as you are now.
