My alternator is taking a crap so I'm in the market for a new one I'd like to have a higher amp than stock which is recommended to go with?

Tenney Alt - Home I'm going to go with their 270 amp upgraded one. the 6.4 has a top and bottom but the top one is the one usually being replaced because the easier access but they are linked together so replacing one will be fine.

I called my local truck dealer and with running my vin the guy told me I have a single setup on my 08.. And the only one I'm able to fine that will work on a Saturday is a 110amp. I'm expecting the worse but long as it gets me going till next week. What brand are you talking about?

Well I know of 2 brands, M2k inc and DC power alternators.
Neither are cheap though......
