ccv mod question

This may be a dumb question , but in considering doing this mod , how are ya'll getting those factory clamps off at each end of the factory ccv (oil filler and intake) ? Just cutting them with pliers? Or some whiz-bang idea that I havn't figured out yet ? I have seen some really neat set ups on here and other sites so the re-route isnt too much to figure out just curious on the removal of the factory setup. Thanks

I just pulled mine off and then almost fell off the bumper haha... But yeah like ^ said
