want to straight pipe my 6.4

New to this site i got a 08 f350 diesel my warranty is up in feb and i want to get rid of the dpf im getin terrible fuel mileage only getin 13 if that im thinking about straight pipeing it and doing a tunner and a intake wat are ur thoughts of wat i should get? for a tunner im thinking about a h&s min max been thinkin about the s&b intake then the mbrp 5inch straight pipe wat are ur guys thoughts i just want better fuel milage.

Mini Maxx is great.

5" straight pipe if you're going from the downpipe back should work well. You technically only need a 4" DFP/Cat delete though.

Are you hand-calculating those miles and is that highway or city?

all city miles hardly go on the highway and i mean to hand calculate my miles all the time but i can never remember so im just going by my computer

The computer is usually pretty wrong. Mine was within .2 MPG for a while. Then, one time it was about 1.5 MPG off then 2 and it's been that way ever since. And when I say off, I don't mean in a good way.

It was reading 15.5 and getting 13.5 for a while. When it says 13 or 14 MPG, I know I'm probably getting around 10 or 11... maybe 12 on a good day.

Hand-calculate it. Trust me. Or don't and you won't be so depressed. LOL That was city driving for me though. On the highway, mine got around 14.5-16 usually.

I have a S&B intake, and spartan tuner. Originally I just did the delete pipe but now have a 4" DP and 5" straight pipe and it sounds sooooo much better.
