DPF delete

I recently purchased a 4in exhaust with the dpf delete. Question is do I need to reinstall the sensors on the exhaust( the one for the dpf and the other 3 thermos) or can i plug them?

assuming you have a programmer, plug 'em up..

Programmer will be here tomorrow. Got the banks six gun with banks iq 2.0. so it will be alright to buy a plug kit for the system?

h&s allows for the sensors to be totally removed.. other programmers go about it differently- which means some of them may require the sensors to be present though it ignores information from them, or maybe it collects and processes information but kills the function those sensors trigger..

you'll have to check the documentation on the programmer, i wager, to be absolutely certain..

Is that one even dpf delete capable or is it only a dpf enabled tuner?

thanks for the info. im hoping i can just plug it because when i was taking off the old exhaust, i had the sensors disconnected and everything, and the one plug got caught and i thought it was a hanger n it pulled the wires out from the plug. so instead of buying a new one for 60 i figured id find out if i can just plug them.

I don't think you can but I'm not 100% sure

Just looked it up and you cant delete the DPF with a banks. To the OP, I would get another tuner before you drive your truck. With out the DPF in place and a proper tuner your truck isnt going to like you very much.

my moms bf ordered the parts for the truck. im not sure on that either. i will find out tomorrow i guess. if it doesnt work what programmer would you recommend?
