Snow water methanol kit
Hey guys um got some question for ya almost done with my truck...
I got in the mail a snow water methanol kit and want to know if its really any good at all for my truck.. I have the stage 3 or2 (can't tell) and just want to use it for etg's and power... I use my truck as a DD and only WOT it some times. I run the HD300 tune and really want to know if its all that good .. I have the 7 gallon resivore and plan to run 75/25. Also if any of ya use it how is it.. And what boost levels do ya run Also got my fass fuel pump 150gph and its hard to put on... How do if any of ya again have done this put the hoses to connect on top of the tank... And did ya lift the box off or drop the tank!?!? Thanks guys ya are my #1 tool for fixing up my truck |

Water/meth kits do what they are supposed to and drop EGT's and will add a little power. Its not going to hurt your truck, but there are better ways to drop your EGT's. A good inner cooler, high flow intake elbow/egr delete, full 4" DP, and 3" CAC pipe will drop your EGTs alot, maybe even more than that water meth kit. It costs more but is worth it over water/meth. I would never run over 75/25. Most blue windshield washer fluid will be 75/25 or 80/20.
As for the fass, it is a pain in the arse to install the lines on the top of the tank if you dont have a skinny friend. When i put my airdog 2 on I didnt drop the tank. I got lucky enough I had a friend whos forearms where small enough to reach between the bed and the frame through the passenger side fender well to be able to get the lines on and off. If you dont have a skinny friend then you will have to drop the tank or raise the bed. How much fuel do you have in your tank? If there is a good bit, then raising the bed will be the easiest. |

I already have all the inter cooler and the elbow and the pipes. Thanks for responding!!! Ha!! I think I have somewhere around a quarter of a tank

Got it on but I have a question..
When it idles it jumps from6.0gpm to about 14.0gpm on my h&s mini maxx and when I push it it goes from 22gpm to around 89gpm but when I let off the gas it drops to 0.0 and goes back up.. Truck runs fantastic and doesn't show of any fuel starvation... But is this normal!?!? Remember this is what my h&s mini maxx is telling me |

gpm as far as fuel? I have a dashdaq, I will have to look to see if this is an option to view. I have always just payed attention to my rail pressure.

Hmm idk i look at it from the mini maxx and it did this when it was stock too so idk:0
