Tuner troubles?

Can someone fill me in on what's happening with tuners (H&S)? I see a lot of talk about them going bye bye and so on... What is changing in January? Who will it affect? Why the changes? Isn't the world going to end in December anyway? Is it just H&S? Will updates still be available or warranty/tech support available? I have a mini maxx already just wondering what all the hupola is about.

The EPA and h&s came to an agreement to stop selling the dpf delete tuners for now and most likely from now on. Most likely h&s will have to sell tuners for dpf intact trucks only like sct had to do away with there "off road" tuners. This will not effect previous customers. I sent my mini maxx in for warranty this week and they are still offering existing technical support to the tuners already sold. Updates are still available. I just don't think we will be getting any adjustments to the dpf on tuning. Where they are at now is most likely where they will stay. But bug fixes and that kinda updates will still be taken care of. So far h&s is the only one. Spartan is still selling tuners but they keep a lot lower of a profile.
