Unable to communicate with ECU - H&S XRT PRO

I have a 2008 F280 6.4L and am trying to install my new XRT Pro but get stuck at the "Key Run" screen when trying to perform the initial dump from my ECU.

Is there anything I should try besides spraying contact cleaner on my OBD-II port? I tried to connect another tuner (SCT Livewire) and it cannot read from the vehicle either.

Does anyone here have the part number of just the OBDII/Data port, without the harness?

Thanks.

Hopefully you aren't having the same problem mine is. Mine was shutting down the ecu so the tuner wouldn't connect. Is it throwing any codes on the truck? Mine was returned to stock and now at ford. Is the tuner freezing or is it letting you do anything?

I can't get the tuner to do anything. The truck has never, ever been flashed and I can't even read the codes from it. Zero communication with the ECU.

It runs, drives, and performs fine; I just can't communicate with it via the OBDII port. This was a former fleet vehicle of the DHS and it has its share of quirks. I am tempted to take it to the ford dealer next week, although it's out of warranty.

Good news! I got this sorted out. After poking around under the dash I noticed a tan wire in my primary wiring harness that was cut. After performing an in-line soldered splice I was able to communicate with the ECU and tune my truck. Thanks guys!
