New to the mini maxx help please

Just got my mini maxx tonight. Just curious as to where the three tune option is. There should be the standard tune then the mild tunes then the hot damn tunes. Correct? For a total of 9 options. I understand it only 3 at a time. But I have had no option

Are those only DPF removed tunes? I will be removing it tomorrow. Also do I have to do anything specific to remove the CAT?

Yes there are 3 dpf removed tunes - easy, mild and hd300. Did you also get a delete pipe? If so then just remove the cat and dpf as one piece. Also it wouldn't hurt to plug your micro sd card into the computer and use the automatic updater to update it.

I forgot to mention that yes it is 3 options for dpf removed tunes. If you select dpf installed then it automatically install that specific tune. Also with dpf installed tunes you won't get an option to select a transmission tune. Only in dpf removed on the mild or hd300 will you get the transmission tune selection.

You should definitely run the updater. Most recent update was out last month. Delete the truck and run the HD300 tune on Hot. You will not even recognize your truck. Just don't run it like that at every light. And do the tranny relearn process if you can. It takes about 3-5 minutes.

If you have a full exhaust kit just unbolt the flange from the downpipe and then again after the muffler. Kick the front of the muffler towards the back of the truck and it will separate fairly easy. Jack the back of the truck up and slide the muffler back section out the rear. Unhook your sensors above the cat and dpf. Slide that whole section out towards the back of the truck and your good.

Btw, PB Blaster is your friend for stuck bolts and sliding the hangers out of the rubber mounts.

Got the delete done and WOW!!! It's an amazing difference! Only took about 30min. What settings should I run for best Mpgs? And I am guessing on the fueling setting less smoke mean better Mpgs?

Most people get the best mileage on the highest hp tune. Low boost fueling I run it at 1 and that works for me. Which tune did you end up loading?
