6.4 jumping forward

Buddy of mine had some issues earlier today. His truck idled fine nbut when put into drive it would lunge forward and felt like a standard when you let the clutch out with no gas.
Its straight piped with spartan tunes and a cold air intake

thanks

Funny you mention that mine has done that three times in the life of the truck the third time being yesterday. It idles fine in park. When I got back in the truck and put it in drive with my foot on the brake it idles up to about 1200 for a couple seconds I give the gas a quick shot and it idles down. Any thoughts?

Mine has done this 3-4 times over the life of the truck as well. It doesnt do it often enough though for me to figure out what is causing it.

I love my suncoast. Now the tranny actually shifts like it should have from the factory. Much tighter shifting and actually holds.
