Bully dog

I'm contemplating a bully dog triple dog gt monitor tuner. I really don't want to spend the $ on a mini max. But I really want shift on the fly.

Is anyone running the bully dog?

Will it delete the dpf?

I understand the limits on expendable income. A mini max or Spartan was out of my reach. I found a used off road livewire for $400 from a member on here. Will delete the emissions and once you can afford custom tunes is great. Canned tunes are ok, but shifting really sucks in my opinion. Just be sure it is unlocked, and has unlocks left. You have more versatility in the long run.

I ran the Bully Dog GT on mine for about 8 months. The shifting is brutal. It slammed and jerked so hard, it was awful! Save up or see if you can find a tuner used that will allow for DPF removal. Best thing I ever did. Oh and the GT had mine going into regen every other day if you ran a higher tune. Left me stranded twice when doing a regen on a higher tune and shut down due to high temps in the exhaust. Don't be a victim! You and your truck wi be much happier for it!
