need some h&s xrt pro

looking at buying a used h&s xrt pro and i need to know if these get vin locked like some of the other brands out there? thanks

do they lock after just 1 use or do they like the sct's and allow you to load to a couple VIN's?

It can be loaded on 5 different trucks. Only one at a time tho. If you get one that's out of unlocks its $100 for 5 more. And if its vin locked its $300 to get unlocked. Be carful buying a used one. I bought a xrt pro off eBay and it was locked to another truck. Luckily they refunded my money.

ok so to be unlocked he would have had to set his truck back to stock tune correct? just want to make sure before i pull the trigger

it can be loaded on a thousand different trucks as long as each is returned to stock...

SCT is the one that can only be loaded to five which is stupid IMO

Sounds as if your question was answered above. One thing I would like to throw in though is to be sure to perform the tuner update on it before installing it on the truck.
